The majority of my clients are UCD students, both graduate and undergraduate. I am an active therapist who works in a present-focused way, using experiential methods like Gestalt and mindfulness, as well as behavioral, CBT, self-management, and solution-oriented approaches. I also do a lot of therapy focusing on relationship issues. I like working with clients who want to be active in their therapy, and are interested in identifying and working on goals and change. I have worked in quite a variety of settings with lots of different kinds of people and issues over the course of my career, so I have some familiarity with most kinds of issues that can arise. I find working with University students to be interesting and satisfying, because students are going through a period of rapid change and personal development, which I remember to be challenging but also rewarding.
