Working from a psychodynamic approach, I aspire to help individuals navigate though difficulties in their life, helping them understand themselves better, develop healthier coping mechanisms, address immediate crisis issues and obtain necessary additional resources to help them quickly resume a healthier level of functioning. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with students at UCD, as well as at other institutions for the past 20 years. My experience with students has been one of being able to quickly develop a helpful connection, and accessibility that enables students to heal, and do the hard and fulfilling work that psychotherapy often demands.
