Gonen, Sevil M.F.T.

My role is to help each of my clients by focusing on their goals and therapy needs. I specialize in supporting students through the sometimes stressful academic adjustments while providing them with a supportive and non-judgmental environment to grow and learn. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, cultural concerns, eating disorders, LGBTQ, trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, perinatal and postpartum support, birth trauma, parenting NICU babies, medically ill or special needs children, adjusting to parenthood, self-esteem, and romantic concerns. I work with clients from a client-centered perspective, emotion-focused therapy with a focus on attachment relationships. I am also trained in CBT, DBT, EFT, PMH, and CCTP. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help you find the right fit for therapy. To learn more about me feel free to visit my website. I work with most EAPs, and out-of-network and can support you with insurance questions for possible reimbursement.
