The Auburn-Davis Center for DBT is a comprehensive DBT program that provides DBT Skills Training Group, Individual DBT therapy and coaching calls. DBT is a skills based treatment for people who have difficulty managing strong emotions and impulsivity. Although the treatment was orignally developed to work with chronic suicidality, it has now been generalized to help with many other issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. The program is aimed at helping people learn and practice new ways of coping with life’s challenges and as Dr. Marsha Linehan says, “to build a life worth living”. The program is 18 weeks long and we accept new people every six weeks. There is a Young Adult Group on Mondays at 5:00. Please contact Dr. Susn Landes for more information.
