I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental presence, working together with you to discover what blocks you from feeling at ease and satisfied with your life. I believe in accessing your inner wisdom to inform us what you need to heal and change. We work together to dissolve the blocks to freeing you to live with greater ease, authenticity, vitality, and joy. I integrate a number of approaches into my work, which I find move beyond the limitations of talk therapy. I am certified in EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a powerful method of resolving past disturbing experiences that continue to adversely impact current functioning. It is also used to build and strengthen the internal resources that you may not realize you already have. I also use EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, which can quickly shift disturbing thoughts and feelings into more positive ones. And I provide sandtray therapy, which is a hands-on tool for expressing your experiences, gaining insight into them, and transforming them.
